Mastering Maps in Power BI: A Comprehensive Guide

For instance, you can add tooltips that show the name of the city, the total sales revenue, and the cost of goods sold.

Power BI allows you to customize the map visually in several ways. For instance, you can change the color scheme, add a legend, adjust the zoom level, and change the map style. You can also use the 'Format' pane to change the font style, font size, and color scheme of the text in the map visual.


Adding multiple layers

For instance, you can add a layer that shows the population density of different regions, and another layer that shows the topography of the area. You can also use the 'Map Layers' pane to add a custom map layer from a URL.
